Our Autonomous Technology in Education Environments event brought together school leaders, facilities professionals and industry experts for a morning of insightful discussions, live technology demonstrations and hands-on conversations. From autonomous mowing to GPS line marking, we spent a great morning exploring what the future of school grounds management could look like – and the future looks smart, sustainable and efficient.

What We Demonstrated:

Autonomous Mowing:

At Green by Nature we’ve started implementing autonomous mowing technology at school grounds we care for which means our staff spend less time mowing and more on the skilled work that matters. Mowers can run early morning or overnight, away from students; and frequent light cutting mulches clippings back into the turf, improving quality. They’re electric which also means no two-stroke noise or fumes near classrooms.

GPS Line Marking:

GPS line marking follows pre-set field coordinates to within a couple of centimetres, replacing string lines and tape measures. Our operators can now mark a full field in a fraction of the time a crew used to take, every re-mark lands in exactly the same place, and stored layouts let you switch between sports without re-measuring – meaning less paint wasted on touch-ups.

Our Next-Gen Capabilities:

The mowers and line markers on show are part of a wider toolkit we’re bringing to school grounds:

  • Zero-turn autonomous mowers
  • Electric autonomous mowers
  • Autonomous line markers
  • Battery-powered zero-turn mowers
  • Electric handheld machinery
  • GPS Spraying
  • Heat mapping
  • Drone technology
  • Smart irrigation systems

Green by Nature is bringing smarter, greener technology to every sector – so your green spaces look their best, every day, with a lighter footprint on the environment.
